Becker supplied and installed a Monoplan S 100U movable wall to provide flexible acoustic division within the Dartmoor Suite at the prestigious Bovey Castle Hotel. Set in 300 acres of Dartmoor National Park, the hotel combines luxury accommodation with spa facilities and an 18-hole championship golf course.

The 8-metre-wide wall was designed to park neatly into a purpose-built cupboard at the side of the suite. When in position, access is provided through a full-height walnut-veneered pass door. The wall panels were finished with a striking natural plant fibre, laminated between two layers of clear vinyl, sourced from Salt Lake City, USA. Mounted against green backing boards and complemented by subtle background lighting, the effect is a warm vertical amber surface that enhances the elegance of the venue.
